JEFF BUCKLEY'S mucis heads to Broadway

According to Rolling Stone, Jeff Buckley's music may be headed to Broadway. The Last Goodbye, a musical from Michael Kimmel, marries the tunes of the late Jeff Buckley and the words of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. new BEASTIE BOYS finally ...this September?

The Beastie Boys are hoping to have "Hot Sauce Committee, Pt.1" in stores in September, one year later than it was initially supposed to arrive. The disc was to hit shelves last fall when rapper Adam "MCA" Yauch was diagnosed with a cancerous salivary gland tumor, but after treatment Yauch says he's starting to feel better.
The goal now is to have their music out this September, however they may not release the album depending on his health. They want to, but will play it by ear. Yauch says the group will revisit the album shortly to amke sure they are still happy with the material on it and determine if they want to make additions or changes.

The band will be performing a track called "All MY Friends Are Insects" on the "Bug" episode. The show will also feature a special remix from BLINK 182 drummer Travis Barker. BLIND MELON singer honored with documentary

2010 marks 15 years since the passing of Shannon Hoon, the lead singer of BLIND MELON. According to Rolling Stone, the band is honoring the late singer with a documentary to be released later this year. The picture will feature mostly footage of Hoon and is directed by Colleen Hennessy. Blind Melon guitarist Christopher Thorn said, "It's the most initmate, incredible footage."

HOLE release new single

Courtney Love is back baby. HOLE has released the first single off their new album Nobody's Daughter. The track is called "Skinny Little Bitch" and will be available for download on 3/16/10. It took 5 years to finish and Courtney Love is the only original member of Hole on the disc. The album comes out on April 27th.
