INXS are working on new music that sounds familiar to their old music. That's because it is their old music, but with re-imagined arrangements and some top modern rockers singing on them. Rolling Stone reports that THE KILLERS' Brandon Flowers takes on "Beautiful Girl," Rob Thomas does "Original Sin," ben Harper revisits "Devil Inside," and Nikka Costa and Tricky have both had involvement on songs as well.
Drummer Jon Farriss says, "Everyone who sings on the stuff has their own style, their own take on things, and that's why it's so wonderful." Farriss looks at the disc, due this fall, as a trasitional one, but adds that there are plans to record an original album in the future.
