Dead Air Dave hails from his mother's womb. For as long as he can remember, (which isn't very long), he wanted to be on the radio. It was Radio, or become a pearl diver in Yuma, either way, his dreams and goals lead him to Arizona. After his initial shock that the pearl diving industry in Yuma had dried up, (pun intended), he stumbled into the KEDJ studios and the rest is history, or a very long running joke at his expense. While the station has tried to give Dead Air the slip numerous times over the years, he keeps showing up like something you try to scrape off the bottom of your shoe with a stick.
