About Me:
I love my kitties but I like your dogs! If I could broadcast my show from the Caribbean, my life would be perfect! I did that twice in my life actually, thanks to my old friends at Jose Cuervo! When the economy was booming years ago I was sent to broadcast my show right here on 103.9 from Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. I sat 10 yards away from boogie-boarding in between breaks on 103.9, live, from Cuervo nation! Unbelievable experience. But so are the amazing times I have right here in AZ with all of the music lovers and the bands that provide the music for us! Bringing X1039 listeners backstage to meet their favorite band is always one of my favorite perks in radio! It’s you, the fans, who truly make my experience on the radio the most fun! Also, surprise me one day with a double shot cappuccino or a bottle of Chianti and I’ll play your request instantly ;) A side note, I think I’m a chef. Let me open up your fridge and find what you think is nothing in your cabinets, and I’ll whip up something to make your mouth water! Finally, I am proud to say I volunteer for a non-profit organization called AZ PowerPaws. Their mission at Power Paws is to provide highly skilled assistance dogs to adults and children with disabilities, to provide education and continuing support for working assistance dog teams, and to be a resource in the community for people with disabilities.
