In a time before digital downloads and streaming internet music… Craven used to ride his bike 30 miles round trip in the sleet and snow to spend hours sifting through records and discovering music. He soon grew a vast collection of Punk, Ska, New Wave, Heavy Metal, Heavier Metal and Rock records.

As time went on young Craven's love for music grew and eventually landed him at The University Of Cincinnati where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media from The College Conservatory of Music.

After a stint working as an Engineer at a recording studio in Los Angeles …..Craven eventually made his way to Arizona and has called it home for the last 15 years . Still doing what he loves by playing great music in the afternoon’s on X1039 and hosting The Skapunk Show every Sunday night.
