FREE CHILD CARE OFFERED TO VALLEY JOB SEEKERS
In the interest of helping families in the Valley, two local child care companies are reaching out to help the unemployed. Sunrise Preschools and Tots Unlimited Preschools will provide free licensed child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old while parents go to job interviews. The two companies have been providing this service to families formerly enrolled in their childcare programs, and it’s been so well-received they decided to extend it to all families in the community. The idea behind Interview Care is to help families during this period of high unemployment, says Dana Vela, president of Sunrise Preschools.
“We are here for the community. We are the only child care centers to offer a free service like this, and it’s because we believe in supporting our community. We are the hometown child care centers that families like and trust,” says Vela.
Several parents have already taken advantage of Interview Care, and they say it helped ease the stress of finding a babysitter at the last minute.
“When the phone rings and a prospective employer wants to meet you, many parents can’t easily line up child care on short notice,” says Vela. “Sunrise Preschools provides safe and reliable care, which allows parents to concentrate on making the best impression.”
To learn more about Interview Care for your family, visit Sunrise Preschools online at www.sunrisepreschools.com and Tots Unlimited Preschools at www.totsunlimited.com. Sunrise Preschools operates 17 facilities valley-wide. Tots Unlimited Preschools operates 10 facilities mostly in the east valley.
