“Six Feet Down Under.”  The limited edition collection will be available to fans at Trans-Tasman records stores, but for those who aren’t in Australia and New Zealand, it can be purchased at Metallica.com as of September 20th.  The set consists of songs recorded during each of the band’s visits to Australia and New Zealand, which they reveal wasn’t the easiest thing to put together.  The group stated, “It was all well and good until we realized that we did not start making multi-track recordings of every show until 2004…oops!  But you guys, the fans, came to our rescue with some week.  Iero says, “We are now the proud owners of two brand new baby girls, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.  I must say they are a bit small yet to do all of the heavy lifting and chores I need done, but I’m pretty sure in time they will end up paying for themselves, plus they are so g**damned cute it’s sickening.”  In related news, Iero says the band have officially finished their new album and have been playing it loudly while driving way too fast in their respective cars.   But as of yet there is not a title or release date to share.  My Chemical Romance also have come up with hadn’t been done.   But the group succeeded in coming up with something unique.  Singer Stephen Christian tells AbsolutePunk.net, “Everything’s been done.  We didn’t want to go in and be like, ‘We want to make another video where we all pretend like we’re playing our instruments, put flashing lights on us and it’s a live thing.’  We were done with that.  We didn’t want a story….We wanted no storyline.”  So what did the band want?  “Cinematography,” says Christian.  “That’s all we cared about, so that’s how we approached it.  We were like, ‘You can write whatever story you want, but we following the lead of many other acts and taking a more hands-on approach to their career.  The band split from Virgin/EMI earlier in the year and recently self-released the “Hell Or High Water” EP.  Singer Ronnie Winter tells Altpress.com, “We just got our first week sales and we did just as well as we did our first week on a major, so what that tells me is that we have our core fanbase that believes in our music regardless of what some people may or may not think, they’re going to support our band.”  Winter says he’s thrilled to see that they could come close to what they did while under 21:09:23 GMTKings Of Leon are about a week away from releasing their first single off the “Come Around Sundown” album, and they couldn’t be happier to be done with “Radioactive.”  In a preview video posted on the band’s YouTube account, the group reveal that the track has been with them since their “Aha Shake Heartbreak” album, but was never right until now.  Jared Followill says the addition of a children’s gospel choir was the key ingredient.  He explains, “We went into the studio and we tried it and it wasn’t really working, so we were going to scrap the whole song.  But then Caleb went back to this old spiritual song that we all sang growing up.”  Drummer Nathan Followill joked, “After my grandma sees this video, she definitely won’t think we’re going to hell as fast as she did back plan for when the popularity fades.  Christian is attempting to balance grad school and his music career.  He tells Billboard.com, “It is very unlikely that this generation needs or wants or will create a Rolling Stones or U2.  We’re such an ADHD generation.  We want the next big single – what’s on the iTunes playlist today?  It’s like, no one wants to create a Bob Dylan.  So I doubt this band will be around in 10 years, and there needs to be something that I can fall back on.”  Christian says he’s really into doing humanitarian work and he feels that getting his MBA was the logical
