The Green Day frontman is set to perform at the telethon on September 10th.  It’ll air on all major networks beginning at 8 PM Eastern. Well, sort of. The Irish superstars have teamed up with NASA to record a video segment for their current 360º tour. NASA say the out-of-this-world video piece shown at U2 concerts helps people learn more about the International Space Station. The astronauts featured in the clip even had the chance to meet the band in Moscow at a show last week.
